Sorrowful Demise

Holding on
Thats what she does
All nightlong
Twisting and turning
She falls asleep
With tears in her eyes
If she never showed up
Would you notice?

Alone again
She feels empty
She slowly takes out the scissors
Cuts a petal off the paper flower
She holds firmly in hand
Laying it on your pillow
She runs off
And hides in the corner

Fighting fears
Is what she does all day
Run from the names
And things thrown at her
Skies turn black overhead
She pulls out the matches
And burns what's left of her paper flowered
"This is the end of you"

Dying strength
Bloodshot eyes look up at you
Hold out the petal see if she claims it
She shakes her head and hides her face
"Go away" she runs to her hiding place
Losing step she falls
To fast and too quick
The end with her and her paper flowers
